…and hope they don’t have blasters

Let me preface this by saying that Driftwood, Texas not only has a very small population but also that, unless you count the Salt Lick, it’s not that close to much of anything that might be of interest to the Galactic Empire.

Imagine my surprise then, at encountering a sizable cadre of Imperial Storm Troopers this afternoon at the usually deserted intersection of FM150 and Elder Hill Road.  A unit of the 501st Legion, perhaps?

  2. It was a hoot. They were getting photographed, but why there?

    One guy was standing out in the road directing traffic. Also, there were four or five people visiting a grave over in the cemetery at the same time….
